Meet Chris

Last week you met Winter (if not, you can click here to read about her) so now it’s time to meet Chris. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite heroes. (Yes, I realize I say it about all of my heroes. And yes, I always mean it.)

One thing I like to do with my Christmas novellas is give them holiday themed names. In Just One Wish, we had Nick (like Saint Nick) and Holly (like the decorative plant). This time we have Chris (like Kris Kringle) and Winter (for the season). It’s fun trying to think of names that fit the holiday, but still fit during the rest of the year.

Here’s a look at our next hero.

Winter is a 50 year-old tattoo artist from Ashland, Oregon. He has an 11 year-old son named Jake. "Since my wife died, I’ve just been going through the motions. If it wasn’t for my son, I don’t know that I’d have anything left to live for."
